Nafiha Chowdhury is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Georgia who works with children, adolescents, college-aged women, and adult women. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and brings a thoughtful, developmentally informed approach to therapy across the lifespan.
With over a decade of experience in education and youth development, Nafiha has experience supporting children and adolescents in both classroom and counseling settings. Her work with younger clients focuses on emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, academic stress, and building healthy coping skills. She creates a safe and engaging environment where children and teens can explore their emotions, strengthen resilience, and develop tools to navigate everyday challenges.
In her work with college-aged women and adult women, Nafiha supports clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, stress and time management, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and grief. She also works closely with women facing burnout, family and relational challenges, sobriety and recovery, the invisible mental load, and work-life balance. Nafiha is especially attuned to the pressures women carry across roles and stages of life and helps clients reconnect with themselves while building sustainable, values-aligned routines and boundaries.
Nafiha’s therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and individualized care. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with art-based and play-based interventions when working with younger clients. Across all ages, her goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to grow with confidence and intention.
Nafiha is in network with Bluecross/Blueshield, United Healthcare/Optum, and Aetna.
