Child & Adolescent Therapy

Why Counseling?

Growing up comes with challenges, and children and adolescents may not always have the words or tools to express what they are experiencing. Counseling provides a safe, supportive space for young people to work through their thoughts and emotions and feel understood.

Counseling may be helpful when a child or adolescent is experiencing:

  • Grief or the loss of a loved one
  • Bullying or social difficulties
  • Anxiety, depression, or low mood
  • Family changes, including divorce or separation
  • Moving or changing schools
  • Trauma or difficult experiences
  • ADHD or challenges with attention and behavior
  • Eating or body image concerns

How We Can Help

Our therapists work with children, adolescents, and families to better understand their unique needs and develop healthy ways to navigate life's challenges. Treatment is tailored to each young person's age, personality, experiences, and goals.

Counseling can help young people:

  • Understand and express their emotions
  • Develop healthy coping skills
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Improve relationships and communication
  • Navigate difficult experiences and transitions
  • Develop tools to manage stress and everyday challenges

When appropriate, therapists also partner with parents and caregivers to support progress outside of sessions. Our goal is to help young people feel supported, develop resilience, and build the skills they need to thrive.
