Sally Singletary, MS, LPC, NCC, Therapist

Sally completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University. She has clinical experience working with clients managing depression, anxiety and bipolar, as well as clients managing life transitions. Sally also has clinical experience working with couples, primarily utilizing the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.  Sally works with clients of all ages and has extensive experience with young adults.

Sally’s theoretical orientation is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Sally recognizes that thoughts and feelings often dictate behavior and with CBT, one can improve thoughts and behaviors that are not serving them well. Sally also integrates strengths-based and person-centered approaches to her therapy, recognizing each client has different needs and an integrated therapeutic approach can be beneficial to individual success.

I believe that effective therapy is achieved by providing a safe and collaborative space for individuals to share their struggles. Whether these struggles are due to a current situation or a past trauma, therapy can help clients find greater meaning and joy in their lives.

Sally has been married for 25 years and is the mother of four children. In her spare time, Sally enjoys yoga, being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
