Charlotte (she/her) is a therapist-in-training currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in teaching and supervision, as well as with campus ministries in helping provide religious support to college, middle school, and high school students of various cultural and religious backgrounds. Additionally, she has frequently worked with the LGBTQ+ community, both in advocacy and in creating/leading support groups to facilitate connection and self-expression.
Charlotte uses an Adlerian framework for counseling, and frequently pulls from Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems therapies for her interventions. She firmly believes in the inherent worth and mental strength of all humans, and approaches the counseling process with an encouraging and hopeful attitude. Committed to honesty, authenticity, and non-judgment, her goal is to create a space where the client can exist as their full self and embrace ongoing growth.
Charlotte’s current areas of interest are anxiety, attachment and relationships, identity development, religion/spirituality, and PTSD/trauma.
