Kacy Brubaker, MDiv, MS, LAPC, NCC

Kacy is a National Certified Counselor who holds a Masters in Divinity from Emory University, Candler School of Theology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. She has worked in the fields of education, religious education, and counseling. Her work and passion have taken her around the world as well as just next door at First Presbyterian Church.

 

Kacy’s multi-cultural experiences influence her approach to counseling and her work with children and families. She believes that all children are capable and deserve the encouragement to discover their own true identity, empowering themselves to find mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Kacy uses an integrative approach weaving cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian play therapy, and existential-humanistic therapy to help her clients set and attain their own goals.
