Anna Ward Martin is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia’s Franklin School of Psychology, Anna Ward went on to pursue a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida, eventually graduating from Argosy University in December 2012 with a Masters in Professional Counseling and a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling. Anna Ward entered into private practice with Warnecke Professional Counseling in 2013.

Anna Ward’s counseling style stems from the Rogerian view that people are in charge of their own lives, not the therapist. Collaboration between therapist and client is vital to help a person reach his or her goals and the ultimate level of desired happiness. Anna Ward’s frame work is love-based and humanistic. She offers a nonjudgmental, empathetic environment to foster the growth and development of her clients. Cognitive behavioral techniques are often used in her process, as the approach has been proven to be effective in many diagnoses.

Anna Ward’s populations of interest include but are not limited to quarter-lifers, addiction, stress and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, adjustment challenges, life skills and growth, grief, ADHD, the elderly and postpartum depression.
